Its not more time consuming than any other course, but i have to read regularly and that's it. We didn't have a midterm just short essays to write and generally grades are between 80 and 85

The course is about reading 5 or 6 books (about 200 pages each) class is interesting but depends more on your analytical skills, not anything you learn with her.

It's a nice course, the content is interesting, the professor is flexible, it can get a bit boring at some point. There is some reading to do and the assignments as well as the exams are all essay questions on texts we've read or open ended questions. You'd end up with high 80s or low 90s even if you put in the work.

you read about 5 or 6 short books (150-250pgs). As long as you read most of them and engage her in conversation most days you'll get a high grade. She's a very nice person and pleasant to be around. Our class ranged from 80-90 on overall grades.
