hayat is a funny person, not on purpose tho, but just participate a lot in class and read your notes before the test, you'll get high 80s.

If you enjoy reading about gods, monsters, and religion, then I would advise you to take this course if you're looking for an interesting humanity course. I took it with Tony Nasrallah and if you're aiming for an A+ then I wouldn't suggest taking it with him. He does give high 80s if you actually write a good paper though.

manageable workload. You have to read simplified editions of books (not hard and might be very interesting for history/philosophy enthusiasts) . 2 exams and a presentation. The midterm is a 2 hr essay answer. The final is a paper due in 24 hrs. Prof. is approachable,though strict when it comes to deadlines. He's a cultured man: will link class concepts to ancient/contemporary art work and have you learn greek pronounciation (very easy) + he explains very well. Participation is graded, and he takes attendance.

Yes. Simply. No workload other than reading the books (no bs review essays or responses), and if u read the book u guarantee an 80....listen to him for a 90+
