It provides the student with the needed experience that he won't get it from just studying books, he manages this course as if it was a company with you being the developer in it with bdeir as your manager. Bdeir is very passionate about this course, it is really enjoyable, you don't just go to learn stuff for the exam, you learn how the real word in the software engineering industry works. The course is very heavy, requires more effort than any other course, has exams, assignments, readings, and a big project on the level of the final year project, but it's all worth it in the end as this is the course that will give you the most experience you'll need in your real life.
