I took Engl 213 with him and he seemed very nice. He has a dry sarcastic sense of humor. But he speaks very fast and doesn't do class discussions. His classes are basically him lecturing for the full class period and he sometimes speaks over the time frame. He didn't give out midterms or finals, but 2 close readings to submit in 24 hours and 2 essays. His classes are usually chill and don't require too much effort. If you show him you're trying your best you'll do fine.
