Strictness aside, he knows the material very well and can break down theory into practicality so you can understand it better. Concerning grading, it’s computerized so there’s no subjective marking that goes into your exam grade. What others are mentioning is concerning end of year raises, which he does not do under any circumstances. So he’s a great lecturer but he does not negotiate grades. Also when I took it the exams were common so Im not sure if taking it with another prof will result in easier exams
I love this course its material is so interesting and it made me love Econ tbh. the material is easy and its all logical and doesn't require that much studying. If u understand the material from Malak you're fine.
martin is not a bad decision. Joelle writes her notes on the board, she has the same slides thou changed a bit: the course is interesting but not as econ 211 ( test banks ..) : they post a practice on moodle ahead of the midterm. So you either got to choose between pure slides ( martin: who is a nice guy btw and u understnad 3adeh ) or slides+notes ( joelle )
casto is really really good in explaining and always relates concepts to real life examples but gives no raise
he's great! Exams are multiple choice questions, he doesn't give any homework but it's better to study daily!
Darius is so boring, his accent isn't easy to understand, i say go for castro. Though the book and testbanks are more than enough
his explanation was great compared to usama but there's no raise. Exams are vvv similar to banks. If you understand well and attend the recitations you'll be fine. Try to take the recitation with Nora El Baba if she still gives it.
He is very strict like he would kick you from the lecture if you talk to your friend one word or use your phone. But explaining he was okay.
