Database Systems

This course covers the fundamental concepts of database systems. Topics include data modeling using the Entity-Relationship model and the Relation model; query languages including relational algebra and SQL; File Organization and Indexing; Normalization; database programming; and noSQL databases. The course is offered in blended-format and includes a semester project.
