CONSERVATION BIOLOGY

Description
The goals of Conservation Biology are to document biodiversity, investigate how biodiversity is impacted by humans and develop approaches to preserve it. This course will discuss what we should conserve and why, the major threats to biodiversity, approaches to preserve it and methods for assessing diversity and population viability. Students will research and write about a conservation topic of their choice.
