Introduction to Literature in English

This introductory course is aimed at providing freshman students with an opportunity to appreciate literature and improve their English communication skills. Students will study significant literary genres, including fiction, poetry, and drama. Material covered will be representative of pre-Modern, Modern, and Post-Modern literature originally written in English, and will include Women’s, Children’s, and Minority literature.
