A course that provides an overview of the general principles of occupational health using a multidisciplinary framework. Applying diverse perspectives, students of the class will learn about hazards in the workplace and the health, economic, political, social, and societal ramifications of occupational health and safety. The course offers a dynamic learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking and engagement. Students will learn by applying research and readings to case studies, media analysis, and in-class discussions.
