MIMG 209 is a course taken in the last semester of the Medical Imaging Program. Its main focus is a paper (a whole semester project) that you will have to do based on the topic you choose regarding quality control in Radiology. The objective of the course is to work on a project (team-based or individual) based on a topic related to quality improvement in Radiology. The professor begins the course explaining lectures about what quality control and assurance mean regarding imaging scenarios. Later on, you will have to choose a topic pertaining with medical imaging procedures (could be anything regarding quality control/improvement). Once you're done with it, you will be graded based on the originality of the topic, the content itself, the type of resources you used, and how it's followed through.
