Miss Saly Abbas is a sweetheart and she genuinely wants you to learn. Just like Miss Hanane, she will make sure you understand a concept before moving on with her day. Miss Hala will want you to learn too. The difference is she loves using logic when she explains, which makes complete sense because radiography is all about logic. Miss Marlene is a complete personality. She explains what she knows whether or not it is completely valid. Overall she is a an average teacher but a better radiographer. This course is the key to general radiography ( X-ray imaging). You will learn how to properly image a patient using the right exposure factors, collimation, distance, and so on. You will also review the basic anatomy of each bone. This course has a lab where you can practice with a mannequin or image real patients (with the help of a senior radiographer). At the end of each rotation (you will be in the hospital with other radiographers in the x ray rooms, fluoroscopy, mobile radiography, and ER x ray room) you will present a case study where you speak about the procedure of imaging the patient from the minute he/she walks in (making sure of her identification) to the end of the procedure. The case studies will include positioning, infection control measures and the critique of the imaging itself.
