Introduction to Principles of Diseases

Medical Imaging Sciences ยท Faculty of Health Sciences
This course is extremely condensed with information. When I took it, there were no exams, only two case studies (one about Respiratory Tract Pathology and another about Hepatobiliary Pathology). Personally, I found it to be overwhelming because so much information was thrown at us without us truly understanding each concept. The layout of this course still needs some work. I feel like they should have focused on teaching us the basic and most common diseases found in radiologic exams. However, the pathologies that we were given cover the vast majority of the radiologic spectrum and will definitely be helpful in the future throughout your career, whether it might be in medicine, radiography, or even research. The professors giving the course change every semester, it's never been one specific doctor, but the course content has stayed the same throughout the years.
