It is a very interesting class and Zeina knows how to keep you engaged in class. Mostly daily readings of the chapters and other articles or videos. No drop quizzes, There's a midterm, paper (700 words), group presentation and a final. She is a very fair grader. She changes exams frequently so it is useless to take previouses, as every year it has a different format. Participation is very important, and would definitely boost your grade. If you end up taking the course, I advise you to do the readings for class and prepare summaries because all of the exams are majorly based on the book and a slightly on notes
SOAN 203 is a fun course and the instructor does not matter much: it is largely self-study with assignments to submit, presentations and participation, plus perhaps a midterm and a final that are not a source of stress.
