This course develops NUR 325 Critical Care Nursing - Theory (2.0); 2 cr. This course emphasizes the care emphasis placed on the child’s growth and development in relation to illness. The impact of developmental variables from infancy to adolescence is integrated throughout the course. NUR UR of clients with critical health problem such as cardiovascular and respiratory problems, neurologic disturbances, shock, sepsis, metabolic and endocrine imbalances, altered nutrition, renal failure, and emergency and disaster nursing. Prerequisite: NUR 311.
