## Catalogue description

This course is intended to be practical study of the fundamentals and advanced topics of database technologies. Database programming including developing triggers, stored procedures, and stored functions is introduced as well as concurrency transaction concepts and database administration. In addition, this course explores the main features of common non-relational databases: their use, strengths, and limitations. Prerequisites: CSC 226 or CSC 426.
