This course studies the historical development of linguistic theory with a critical analysis of the competing theories of language. Corequisite: ENL 411. Minor in French (15 Credits) Students minoring in French must successfully complete a total of 15 credits with a minimum average of 2.0/4.0 in the minor courses.
