Illustration I, this course introduces more advanced techniques in fashion drawing. Students explore a wider range of materials and rendering methods, with a focus on illustrating fabrics, textures, and the structural rhythm of the body in motion. Prerequisite: FTP 212. will investigate the relationship between fashion design and the contemporary issues of the 20th and 21st centuries, beginning with the Art Nouveau period, the “between the two Wars” period, the New York era, innovations of the 20th century, and finally the contemporary era. Prerequisite: FTP 224.
