This course covers the analysis of air pollution sources and methods for con¬trolling emissions, with a focus on transportation-related air pollution. The course also encompasses a summary of fundamental chemical and physical processes governing pollutant behavior, and a quantitative overview of the char¬acterization and control of air pollution problems. The analysis of key elements of the air pollution system such as the sources and control techniques, atmospheric transformations, atmospheric transport and modeling are discussed along with the effects of climate change.
