What's nice about the course is that it doesn't require daily studying and there aren't any given assignments. He distributes at the beginning of the semester a booklet of around 20 lessons that highlight main phrases, definitions and terms that he discusses throughout each session so you must take notes, he also speaks fast. For the first 2 quizzes he sends you the topics beforehand, like 2 days before or so. Try to visit him early in his office so he could see what you have prepared( he is really picky with words, try to use them properly and literally as much as you can). Final however requires studying the notes really well and he doesn't send you anything about it he only gives an overview of its format. He is not super easy with grades that is you get what you deserve.
You get the exam topic before exam day so the key is preparing it ahead of time and meeting with him because he'll actually correct it for you.
