A good course. Most of it is exploring different poems ansd writers. The instructor doesn't give high grades though.

Instructor is good, she explains well and takes attendance every session. I do not recommend that you skip any time because she values attendance and participation. U need to participate with her and read the poems. You should get at least some info about the poets before you come to class, she values that you’re concerned with the material not just coming for grades. Grades are good if you’re good in arabic, you can still get high 80s if you can understand well and make the assignments (easy and few) Exams do not need much preparation, (few hours the day before!), but you really need to have understood all poems earlier in the semester. Exams are about: لأي شاعر تعود هذه الأبيات فسر الأبيات التالية ربط بين الأبيات ومناسبة القصيدة وحياة الشاعر

Recommended, it's basically poetry and the professors are good too. If you aren't good in Arabic then don't risk it.

If you don’t have a good Arabic background it will be a bit difficult.
