You might find him a bit demanding in the beginning because you need to participate during class discussions and hand in a paper every 2 weeks , but you'll get used to his ways soon enough. If you're into theater and reading plays (or books in general) you'll enjoy the course with him. He also grades well if you meet his expectations
You have to read response paper every week, a midterm a presentation and a final paper. He's an easy grader. we got high 80s mid 90s. but its a lot of work and reading and he performs LITERALLY in class
I would highly recommend this course. It’s not low workload, though: you have to read one play every week or two and write a brief report on the required scenes. The plays are interesting and Robert is a great professor (although he does tend to go off topic sometimes). There’s also a final paper and final presentation at the end of the course, and it’s easy to get high grades if you show that you’re interested and committed.
