my favorite professor ever. Just make sure u don't get on her bad side and just study from the book and write notes and you'll be more than fine, it was an easy course, just a bit dense and needs time, but it was not hard AT ALL. don't listen to students who tell u its super hard cuz its not.
I took it with her live before corona. I recommend her, she is funny, gives alot of examples, no boring slides. The class is more like a free session. Show descipline, let her like you or at least not hate you or she will turn your sem into hell. Don't cheat! If she caught you, she would fail you. Read the chapters(even what's in the margins/under the pictures/side tables, everything). The exam (common/mcq) is strictly from there. No need to take notes. The chapters are extra long (30+ pages) which could be a burden if you're having a hectic semester. Don't fall behind on reading or you'll fail the pop quizzes. The course is very easy. A+ is easily attainable, just read the chapters on time.
the course is easy, you have to memorize info but can get A- easily. the exam is mcq, common. when i took this course we faced serious problems with may. she canceled our final bcz we all took very high grades. At first she lied to us and said that the inputs were not recorded, but then students called IT and told us that everything is saved but the prof told us to say nothing. then we used the excuse that a previous exam was posted instead of a new exam (wow she had to wait that long to know that this was a previous exam) and students had other proofs that it was not. 2 of my classmates also had personal issues with her
the prof is sweet but she doesn't rlly explain the material well. she mostly just reads the slides and calls out on people. if you could take it with a different prof, it's recommended
I took the course with May, and I didn't enjoy the course with her; Exams are common with all sections and mostly Multiple choice, but I didn't like the way she teaches. I registered expecting an easygoing and fun social science, with her wasn't at all.
I personally loved the course and loved how she interacted with us. It takes a lot of studies and time to be able to get grab of the methodology of studying but it gets easier with time!
