You have to attend his classes and take notes.... average was around high 40s and 50s but he did a 25 point raise for the overall grade... u can pass exams( without any raise) if u study notes and syllabus. He is very smart ,and friendly specially during his office hours .He is very sharp with appointments. I took the course with him and it was not that bad at all. The problem that the first quiz was very hard , then he started making good to hard exams that u can get higher grade but not HIGH. You will feel better and start think outside the box and get used to his exams. He gave us many extra questions before quiz 2 and final that were very helpful for the exams. He is not that bad . If u don't have a better instructor he is not the worst

The main problem was that the students could not adapt to his way of teaching, which involved you actually understanding mathematics rather than memorizing it (it is also really advanced for a Math 102 course). I managed to cope with his style of teaching and not only did I get high 80's, but I'm confident that his way of teaching changed my way of thinking so much that I'm confident that I'm able to tackle other harder Math courses.

Easily the most brilliant math 202 teacher I've ever seen and his tests are always fair. And he offers a raise so it doesn't really end up affecting your ranking.

Don't be late to class and you'll be fine :P He's a really good teacher and helps you practice while in class and he doesn't mind repeating until you understand.

Professor Yamani doesn't go deep in explanation at all. He just mentions the definitions and the theorem, explains briefly and jumps to solving exercises. For those who just want to know how to solve and get high grades this is more than enough! This course needs practice, knowing the proofs isn't that important for the exam, so many consider Prof. Yamani a great choice.

Tlas-the only one who gives the course in fall the best math professors I've ever seen at AUB. A very well-organized man, a great clarification,a gentleman , always willing to help, and most importantly: his EXAMS are NOT as hard as people claim to be.
