You'll never get bored in his class, but his exams are very detailed and tough. The material is a lot and the course requires a lot of memorization and knowing the history and philosophy behind it all very well, so make sure you study for it daily and keep up with the material. Personally, i found writing down my own notes very helpful. - **2019-08** — it's heavy workload because you have to be detail-oriented and always take notes during classes but arne is an amazing teacher really interesting and smart. For exams, there is no extra credit what so ever you can't negotiate with your grades or anything what you see is what you get. Usually it s a combo of MCQ open-ended (short) and matching but it depends you might not get one of the last 2 in a given exam.
