- **2021-08** — As an introductory class, the material isn't tough since MCOM201 does not go in-depth into any of the topics discussed. You're graded on 3 response papers (2-3 pages), a midterm, a final, participation, and some homework here and there. The response papers are very straightforward, just make sure to take notes in class and to do the readings. If you don't get a good grade on your first one, ask for notes and she'll tell you exactly what didn't work. The midterm and final are essay questions, none of them are hard, but the time limit was challenging. We were allowed to use our notes, so if that's the case, make sure you have lesson resumes ready. Professor Farah has a reputation for being strict with students but she is honestly very nice and super helpful. Just attend all lectures, skim your readings and take notes, participate, and pay attention to how she specifically wants the work done (she is very particular about it) and you'll end up with high grades.

- **2020-04** — High workload course, If it's not your major course, I wouldn't advise it as an elective

- **2020-04** — Took it with Josh, is a very interesting course, very broad but great topics.Tooooo many readings, and high workload. The exams are tricky but easy if you do all your readings and watch the movies you are asked to watch high grades are acheivable. There are 5 response papers as well which are based on required movies & readings.

- **2019-08** — She is so nice but hard grader

- **2019-08** — Not so easy. Interesting but the exams are not straightforward and a bit hard.
