Granted he is a bit demanding, but he knows the material very well and is able to communicate it better than any other CMPS teacher I have come across. He is so passionate about computer science and wants to share his passion with the students. If you actually want to learn and don't care as much about grades (which definitely are NOT an indication of how good a programmer you are), then I strongly recommend taking it with Bdeir. If you just want to pass the course and be done with it then Wassim is not a bad choice either, he is knowledgeable and a fairly good communicator. It's Bdeir's passion that is so appealing to me. I have not missed a single lecture since the start of the semester and if you knew me you would realize what a big deal that is.
