Starting with the Epic of Gilgamesh, the course moves on to explore the Greek and Roman worlds through epic, drama, history, and philosophy, in some of the most influential texts from that period of human history. Sequence one courses (201, 202, 205, 207) focus on the ancient world up to the Renaissance, sequence two courses (203, 204, 206, 208) on the pre-modern to contemporary world. Her exams are quotes from the books that you have to identify and either an essay question or a paragraph from one of the books with questions.
